“It’s in God’s hands,” said Keith Robinson, shortly before passing at is home in Victor, Montana on July 24th, 2021 at the age of 80. Born in Warsaw, Illinois on August 4th, 1940 to Lowell and Verna Robinson, Keith grew up in Colona, Illinois and graduated from Northern Illinois University on a tennis scholarship. After graduation, Keith moved to the Chicago area where he taught high school and tennis. Eventually, he relocated to Colorado to become part owner of a custom log home building business. When the business expanded to the Bitterroot Valley, he moved his family and made this his home.
Keith was a member of United Methodist Church in Corvallis, where he sang in the choir and worked on various committees. He never met a stranger and was known for telling great jokes. He is survived by a brother, Kenneth Robinson, a sister, Cheryl Howell, three loving and beautiful daughters, Jami Gentry of Bothell, Washington, Jodi Hutchison of Hamilton, Montana, and Lori Robinson of Bozeman, Montana, 4 grandchildren, Hannah Hutchison, Ryan Hutchison, Kyli Gentry, and Kaden Gentry, the girl’s mother, Jacque Ellis, the girl’s stepfather, Steve Ellis, and many loved nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
A memorial service will be held on August 6, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Corvallis, Montana. A celebration of life party will be held at the Edge Restaurant (inside/outside) following the memorial.
