Linda Higginbotham Obituary

Linda G. Higginbotham, age 75, passed away on April 2, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was born on November 3, 1948, in Amarillo, Texas, to Uel Ray and Elsie Francis (Essary) McMillan.

Linda was preceded in death by her loving parents, sister Barbara Miller, and brothers Loni and Jerry McMillan. She is survived by her brother Larry McMillan who will continue to hold her memory dear.

On March 25, 1965, Linda married her high school sweetheart Greg Higginbotham. They were blessed with four children: Lisa (Brian) Morris, Jeseka (Blake) Mier, Tim (Kelli) Higginbotham, and Susan (Tobin Walker) Higginbotham.

Throughout her life, Linda held various jobs, but her most cherished titles were those of Mom and Grandma. She poured her heart and soul into nurturing her family and creating a warm and loving home for them to thrive in.

Linda leaves behind a legacy of love in her 12 grandchildren: Joe Morris, Alicia Russell, Matthew Morris, Kendyl Morris, Will Mier, Mike Mier, Heidi Mier, Hannah Stewart, Kiera Walker, Anise Walker, Adrian Walker, and Max Higginbotham. Additionally, she had the joy of knowing seven great-grandchildren: Isamar, Ryder, Rose, Cora, Emilie, Haze, and Jace.

Her kind spirit, unwavering love, and gentle smile will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 2pm in the Bedford Building Ballroom, Hamilton, Mt. Family and friends are invited to join together to honor and remember Linda's beautiful life and the impact she had on all who knew her.
