MARGERY "ANNE" HANNON MESKIMEN

DARBY - Margery “Anne” Meskimen passed away peacefully, to be with our Lord, on February 19, 2021. 

Anne was born to Champ and Bessie (Greenup) Hannon on February 13, 1932 in Bozeman, Montana.  The family moved to Darby around 1935. 

Anne married Elmer Lewis Meskimen, Jr.  on January 23, 1955.  They made a home in Darby for several years, where they had four children, then moved to Great Falls so that son Matt could attend the School for the Deaf and Blind. They then moved to San Diego, where Anne worked at Alvarado Hospital for several years.  They returned to Darby to be closer to family and took care of both of their mothers and an aunt, while Anne worked for the Ravalli County Health Department for several years before moving to Home Health for Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital, where she stayed until her retirement. 

Anne will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  If you knew Anne, you became a friend.  Her family could tell you many stories of holiday dinners, surrounded by strangers, because Anne couldn’t stand for anyone to be alone. 

Anne was preceded in death by her son Matt, and her beloved husband Elmer.

She is survived by her son Craig (Jill) Meskimen of Darby, son Shayne (Dani) Meskimen of Billings, daughter Lori (Paul) Gillum of Hamilton, 8 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild, her brother Gary Hannon, her niece and nephew, and numerous cousins.
