L. Margie Lindquist, 90 of Hamilton passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.
Margie was born April 4, 1930 in Pocatello, Idaho to the late William and Elba Siler. She attended Coeur d’ Alene High School prior to moving to Hamilton at age 18. Margie married Marion Lindquist on December 23, 1950.
As a child and 4-H leader, she was showing her sheep when met President Truman. She loved to Crochet and won many awards at the local fair. Her family said she made the best pies and cakes.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Marion; son, Clyde Lindquist; grandson Jason Bartholomaus.
She is survived by her daughters, Deanna (Bruce) Bartholomaus of Spokane, WA and Iola Lindquist of Hamilton; granddaughters, Megan, Angela and Kayla Bartholomaus; great grandchildren, Hannah, Maddison, Evie, Grayson, Hunter and Austin; sister, Joan Cousins of CA.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the Daly-Leach Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton.
The family suggests memorials to the Bitterroot Humane Association.
