HAMILTON - Marilyn Joy Groover, 77 of Hamilton, Montana, entered into her eternal resting place on December 20, 2021, at Bitterroot Health Daly Hospital.
Marilyn was born in Barnesville, Georgia, to Samuel B. Miller and Sarah L. Miller. She was a 1962 graduate of Murphy High School, in Mobile, Alabama. Marilyn attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church, in Hamilton. She enjoyed reading, playing Scrabble, Elvis, The Beatles, and cats.
Marilyn is survived by her two sisters, Ann Libman and Cynthia Taratoot; brother, Jerry Miller, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; son, Shawn Groover, of Piedmont, South Carolina; daughter, Sabrina Groover, of Hamilton, Montana; and three grandchildren: Elisha Roberts, Zach Roberts, and Sierra Groover, all of Hamilton, Montana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Groover; and her parents, Samuel B. and Sarah L. Miller.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 20, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Hamilton, Montana.
Flowers will be accepted.
