PINESDALE - Norma Ethel Kunz "Granny" Weidow age 85, Pinesdale MT passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday April 8th, 2024. She was born March 31, 1939, in Murray UT to Morris Quincy Kunz and Ellen May Halladay.

Norma married Theodore Grant Weidow on October 17, 1956 in Murray UT.  In 1963, they moved to Pinesdale MT and made that their home.  She had 14 children, 66 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, and many community kids that considered her granny.

Granny loved to sew and crochet; she would spend hours sewing up pajamas and crocheting blankets for all her family.  She loved to garden and be outdoors hunting, camping and just spending time with her family.  She also loved to say, "ooh shit" or "oh hell" and loved to tease, laugh and make others laugh.

Granny was preceded in death by both parents, many brothers, sisters and three grand babies.  She is survived her children Teddy, Jesse, Ellen (DeVoe), Scott (Holly), Wayne (May), Ethel (Les), Darrel, Rex (Ursula), Aaron (Aleta), Steven, George (Margaret), Marilyn (Gabe), Maureen (Gregory), and Annie (Brad) and her grandchildren.

A family graveside service will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024 at 11:00am at the Ted Weidow Senior Cemetery in Pinesdale Montana, with a reception to follow at the Pinesdale Chapel.
