Robert "Nick" F. Evanoff

Robert “Nick” Evanoff – 86 of Hamilton passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.

Nick was born July 7, 1933 in Butte, Montana to Nick and Erma Evanoff.  He was also raised by his step-dad, Alex Evanoff.  After high school Nick served in the US Navy as an Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class from March 1951 to May 1954. 

He married Katherine Deitz on July 5, 1958 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Hamilton.  Nick retired from the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department and the Ravalli County Road Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters.

Nick is survived by his wife Kathy; son, Terry (Autumn) Evanoff; daughters, Linda (Mark) Bennett and Laurie (Alex) Gollos; numerous grandchildren and spouses and great grandchildren; and his brother Ted Evanoff.

A private family funeral mass will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Daly-Leach Chapel with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton.  A reception for family and friends will follow at the Daly-Leach Community Room.
