Roderic "Rod" Adrian Lucas

HAMILTON - Roderic Adrian Lucas was born in Havre, Montana to Orval Lucas and Mamie McGee on Nov. 10, 1933. He died on June 8, 2022, at St. Patrick’s Hospital.

Rod married Reta Campbell in Chinook, Montana, on March 27, 1954. They celebrated 68 years together having six children: Lois, Deborah, Roderic, David, Todd and Linda. They have 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and fostered 23 children.

Rod graduated from Northern Montana College; then worked at Havre Tire, Missouri Valley Trails, and Missoula Youth Homes. They resided in Missoula, MT for 28 years, and Corvallis, MT  for 24 years. Rod received the Jaycees Distinguished Service Award, was a Master in the Masonic Lodge, was the Patron of the Eastern Star, a Shriner, and active in the Corvallis Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held at Corvallis United Methodist on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., and will be officiated by Pastor Andrew Brigman.
