Roger Dale Bushee

Roger Bushee passed away peacefully on March 18, 2020 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Roger joined the army in 1968 and served in Vietnam.

He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan to William and Donna Bushee on November 14, 1947. In 1971 he married Margaret “Peggi” and together welcomed their son, William, and daughter, Rebecca.

Roger and Peggi moved to the Yukon Territory, Canada, where he worked for the Canadian Forest Service for 10 years. They moved to Montana in 1987, where Roger worked for the U.S.F.S. until he retired in 2018.

Roger loved hiking, cutting firewood, and his cat, Cleo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Peggi, of 49 years; son, William (Shaunna); and daughter, Rebecca; grandchildren, Samantha, Nathan, and Abby; sisters, Deb, Shel, and Rhonda.

Roger was fortunate to have friends who continued to keep in touch. A special thanks to Tom, Charlie, Pat, and John.

Cremation has been entrusted to Daly-Leach Chapel. A gathering will be announced at a later date.
