Rolland David Schrader

    Rolland David “Babe” Schrader was released into the arms of his beloved Savior on Saturday October 21, 2023 at the age of 73 in his home in Hamilton, Montana. 

    Rolland was born on March 5, 1950 in Bertha, Minnesota to George and Hjordis Schrader. He grew up in White Sulfur Springs, Montana. At the age of  17 he moved to Victor, MT.  His life was forever changed by the kindness and love of Bill and Francis Clark of Victor, MT.  Bill not only offered him a job, but Bill and Francis offered him a place in their home and family and acted as surrogate parents to Rolland. 

   Rolland met the love of his life, Ilene Bridge in 1971.  They were married in 1971, and would have celebrated their 52nd anniversary this November 13th.  Together Rolland and Ilene raised their two children, Lisa and Derik with much love and laughter in their home in Hamilton.

   Rolland is joining his family members including his parents and three older brothers, as well his brother-in-law, Don Parker and Bill and Francis Clark in heaven with God.  He is survived by his wife Ilene, his daughter Lisa Rigby (Jason) and grandchildren Macy and J.J.; his son Derik (Suzy) Schrader, and his twin brother Ronald, and sisters Barbara, Connie, and Bonnie.

   Funeral Services for Rolland will be held the Daly Leach Chapel on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m..
