HAMILTON – Wilma Mae “Blondie” Andrews, 95, of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Discovery Care Centre after a long and difficult battle with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Wilma Mae Andrews (Blondie) born September 18, 1926, returned to the loving arms of her Savior, in Heaven, where she will spend eternity with the love of her life, Bill Andrews.
She asked for a short obituary that simply said, “Good-bye to those I have loved, and who have loved me in return. I will be waiting for you because I am finally home with Bill and Mom.”
Cremation has been completed. At Mom’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to an Alzheimer’s charity.
Thank you Lord, for the faith and fighting spirit of this amazing woman, we were fortunate enough to share this incredible journey with. Special thanks to Dr. Jones, Heidi and with heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Valley View and Discovery, especially Charlotte.
She came to earth blazing like a falling star…She left softly on the wings of an angel.
