In memory of
Zachary Isaac Bloom, age 26
Zachary was born in Helena, Montana on October 29, 1994. His parents, Michael and Jeanette Bloom welcomed their curious little boy into this world. Zachary’s middle name was Isaac. It was his great-great grandfather’s name, who was from eastern Europe. Zachary was so proud to be named after him. The family moved to Texas where Zachary attended the Beth Torah Jewish preschool. They returned to Montana in 1999 where he went to public school and college.
Zachary was a beautiful soul with a wonderful smile and great sense of humor. He loved singing and listening to music, looking at the stars, and walking along the river. He was also very talented at playing the piano and his family often asked him to fill the house with music. Zachary always had a quest for knowledge where he questioned and researched everything to find his own answers. He was very connected to the ocean and water. He dreamt of being a marine biologist and working in the natural environment.
Zachary passed away unexpectedly on January 14, 2021 at his home in Missoula, Montana.
Zachary is survived by his parents Michael and Jeanette Bloom, his stepmother Tina Bloom, his grandparents Tom and Millie Sullivan, his grandfather Stephen Bloom, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, step-siblings, and Nia Bloom (his loving dog). Zachary was very close to his aunt Laura and his two cousins, Hannah and Sarah. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Helen Bloom, and his uncle David Frazier.
Zachary had good friends and will be missed by many. He was such a gift that was taken far too soon.
Any memorials in Zachary’s name may be made to NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton.
