Grandma Betty,

I'm glad I got a chance to meet you and I know everyone is celebrating the wonderful 99 years and the memories they got to share with you in that journey. You will be missed.

The world was a more lovely place because of Betty Bailey. The Bailey/Harrison families have contributed so much to make Montana and the Bitterroot "The Last Best Place." We have never met a more gracious, kind and caring person than BettyBailey. What a remarkable lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mary Lynn and Bob at this sad time.

Growing up in the Bitterroot holds many memories. The Bailey family and Betty were part of that time. Corvallis and the Bitterroot were all the better because of Betty's life.

Mary and Bob: What a a wonderful, full, life your mother experienced. I'm so sorry for your loss. It was always a delight to run into her somewhere. No matter how many years went by she always remembered me when our paths crossed. I remember your dad waiting patiently while she filled me in on your latest activities. She was so proud of her kids. As I said before, your mom was a Bitterroot Institution. She touched and will be missed by many.

We'll remember her warm greetings whether while meeting on a street in Hamilton or at family gatherings. Sending hugs to the Bailey family. Wish we could do that in person. Our prayers for comfort and peace from our Lord Jesus Christ.

The family of Betty Bailey,
I enjoyed Mrs. Bailey during the schools years in Corvallis. She was always a lady; gentile, warm, hospitable, helpful and caring. It was after the school years when I began to appreciate her friendship as we both reach our senior statesman times. Heaven is brighter from her presence, and earth is better for her contribution. Rest well dear Angel.

My sincere sympathy to all of the family. Betty was truly a remarkable Bitterrooter! Mom and I really enjoyed visiting with her while she was at the Living Center.

Sorry to hear about the passing of your mom Bob. She was always so nice to me and as she grew older, she always remembered who I was. What an elegant and elect lady she was and still is. May your family be blessed with peace and wonderful memories.
