Eleanor and Family,
We were sorry to learn of Harley's passing. May the memories of all the wonderful times spent together always bring a smile to your faces.

Harley and I spent at least one summer as best friends when my family lived on the old Osborn Dairy. We probably spent most every day roaming around the river, canal and other spots. We probably caused some trouble for our folks and others but not enough to last past the day. There is something about a best friend that sticks in your heart forever and Harley has. I stopped to see him and Mrs. Marvin about 4 to 5 years ago and have been going to do it again but didn't make it. The Lord knows the goodness in your heart Harley. We will see each other again.

Eleanor, so sorry for your loss. I'm so sorry that I wasn't able to spend more time with Harley and yourself at the edge. You never know when that time could be the last. Harley was always a great friend to our family. He's the last member of the original Wednesday night bowling team to go. They have a full team roster now.

A donation was made to Hospice of the Valley Gardiner Home in honor of Harley Marvin. Brandon Deatherage and Nikki Peters have been volunteering at this home for quite some time and see the comfort and compassion hospice provides first hand.
