Sorry to hear that Irene has passed. Arden is the oldest son of Rudolph Helland, brother of Hjalmer. Seems that Irene had an interesting life after they left North Dakota. . We had visited Art, Gordon, and Susie in Kalispell, and the graves of Hjalmer and Julia in Plains several years ago. We had family from the Helland farm in Norway visit us in Binford, North Dakota last year, and we showed them Hjalmer's farm at Hannaford.

She will be greatly missed, but we know she can finally rest. My favorite memory with her will always be when I played my accordion for her and the family. Despite not feeling well at the time, she hopped right up, grabbed somebody and began waltzing through the living room. She was an incredible woman who lived a full life. Rest well, Irene, we love you and you will live on in all the hearts you've touched throughout the years.
