Mr Jeter was my 5th grade teacher at Daly…
Even as a young kid, he had an impact on me.
Great teacher he was! I still talk about the. “ jeter bumps” we got on our head from his college ring for messin up!

Aunt Kamie,
I spoke with Mom and Dad and they very much wish they could be there for you. They wanted me to tell you....
"We remember Jim and wont forget his kindness and generosity and warmth. We always had a wonderful time visiting and really looked forward to our annual summer visits. Dad especially loved playing golf. We are sending you and the entire family all of our love. We are so sorry we could not be there during this difficult time. Bob and Virginia"

Dearest Aunt Kamie and family,
It breaks my heart that I cant be there for you. My most wonderful memories of my childhood seem to center around wonderful times and things that Uncle Jim taught me...hunting for rocks and making jewelry, sitting at the ham radio and talking all over the world, learning how to ride a motor cycle and all of our wonderful hikes and road trips all over the place especially come to mind. I loved him with my whole heart and he will be greatly missed. We are sending you all our love, hugs and prayers during this time and for all the time to pass. We are so glad that Julia can be there to represent all of our love to you and the family. Carolyn and Bruce and family

Well, Granary Road will not be the same without you Jim, and Kamie I will miss you too. Although we had just moved in, you made us feel welcome and part of the neighborhood. I loved seeing Jim in his chair on the front porch trying to keep his hat on his head. You led such interesting lives and I wanted more time to hear all your stories.

Our deepest condolences on the loss of Jim. He was such a wonderful man.

Hello,
My name is Corey Herrick and I was in Jim's 6th grade class of 1987. This was his last year of teaching before retirement. I felt honored to be in his class and I will always remember his life's stories and the way he taught history. He had a very positive impact on many people and he was quite a great man to admire. I see him being in peace watching over his family.

Hi Kamie,

Where have the years gone?

John passed away in 2005. It took 2 years for me to recover from that. I spent the first five years writing novels. Then I developed vertigo and could no longer write.

I wish we had joined the dig in Arizona. But we enjoyed our years camping in the desert south of Salome.

I'm living at Beehive Homes in Hamilton. Wonderful care for that type of facility. You might want to check it out.

Please accept my sincere condolences. Mr. Jetter was my first teacher, upon our family moving from California in 1976. He was a kind and compassionate man, who I loved having as a teacher! May all of your fond memories bring you peace!
