Rod, It's your brother Mike, Aggie's son. I will always remember coming to Darby and Wilsaw in 1970 and meeting you and Trenny...I'm sorry we were out of touch thru the years but I thought of you often. I remember your hot rod with the keg gas tank. I remember when you came to Cali twice, once just to see us and then in 1971 when Mom died. I love you Rod. We are blood brothers from the Christiansen's and I will still think of you often, See you when I get up there. Tell Mom hi .......

Well, Darby will never be the same,
Rod was the town's high lite, and plum fun reason to spend time, .
His big ole smile that gave off a laugh that just made lights shine bright in everyones eyes..
His hugs when he'd say "hey girl, how ya been,?" was the best medicine one could have.
There is not enough room here to name all the great things he did for his town, family, friends,But we all can talk about them when we think of him.
Darby and all that knew him, lost one heck of a all around fantastic man.
I wish speedy ,love,Hope and peace on all greaving,

Even though I have not seen Darby or the Brown boys in several years since I moved up to Alaska, I still think of them often. My day was always brightened by seeing Rod walk thru the door, he was a magnet for everything wonderful and fun. Be at peace friend. My thoughts are with you and your family.
