Laurie and I were high school friends and I admired her quiet friendliness and amazing intelligence. She will be greatly missed at our high school reunions.

I attended public schools in Spokane with Laurie. We sat next to each other in sixth grade. While we were never really ''friends'' it is easy for me to remember her after all these years because she was such a nice person....always an easy smile and a friendly hello whenever we passed in the halls. I'm sure she will be greatly missed and I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Heaven recently received two very special Angels. We are so saddened in our hearts and miss them beyond words but celebrate that they are singing praises in His presence, for eternity. We are holding all the family close in our hearts and pray it will be of comfort knowing other share your sorrow and are thinking of you.

We wanted to express our heartfelt sympathy to the family of Ron and Laura. We have been praying for you as you mourn your loss. We were privileged to know them for a short period of time while we were in the Bitterroot Valley (six and half years). We came to love them so very much.

We are so sorry for the great loss of these two lovely friends. We are thankful to have known them, and fondly remembering a short visit overnight in July and many past memories. Your Mom was a great friend to me, and I know to many others. Her strong faith, and quiet humor always blessed me. You are all in our prayers -- may Jesus wrap his arms around you.

Mindy, I am so sorry for your loss. Joel, I also send this to you, although I can't remember if I got to meet you. Laurie worked part-time teaching ESL for the Literacy Program for a couple of years and Mindy did some testing for us. Ron and Laurie were such kind people and they lived their faith. May the love of God wrap around you and comfort you as you go through this difficult time.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I never had the privilege of meeting Mr. & Mrs. Chaney but it sounds like they lived full and wonderful lives and were able to accomplish so much in the pursuit of helping others. I am sure that they have left many wonderful memories for you to look back on. As you reflect on your loss, please take comfort in the scripture at 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17. May God strengthen you and bring you comfort during this difficult time as we await the fulfillment of his promise of a resurrection. (Acts 24:15; Revelation 21:4)
