Roy was my second counselor in the White Rock Ward bishopric He was always kind and loving to those we served. He went out of his way to help any in need. He gave a talk in church to appreciate those I was releasing from ward positions, I did this often as we had so many capable people who I felt needed a chance to serve.
He did it with love and much compassion as some felt they had more to give.
He helped me with the wiring of our home and was quite picky on how wires were to be bent and fixed to the outlets very meticulous.
Though Roy struggled later I know of his firm testimony of the restoration and his love of Jesus Christ

To the family of Roy,
You know you all were family to us back in the Los Alamos days. I loved and respected Roy so much, he was so genuine and he'd overcome a lot of adversity in his life. Even though we'd lost touch, he's one of those people I find myself thinking of often. He will be missed. I'll keep you in my prayers. I smile a little thinking of the reunion he must be having with my parents and others who have gone on before.

Dear Kathy and Famly, We are so sorry to hear about the death of Roy. Remember, Roy and i had worked together in Los Alamos during a time when all sorts of reorganizations were being planned and executed. After the first and most contentious one, both you and Roy moved up to Colorado to work on the "shut down" at Rocky Flats. That was a bit like a "Chinese Fire Drill", but it was a time when our friendship was strengthened. After, the Lab was reorganized both Roy and I became closer collaborators on the "Rocky Shut-down"! We had a lot of good times and it was a time to get to know and really appreciate one and other.

Both Mary and I wish the best for you Kathy and hope you will be fine. Roy was a good man and a good friend.

Kathy and family. You are in our thoughts and prayers as you traverse the forward path without Roy by your side. You were both such dear friends and we will miss him terribly. Our time of working with him at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and our friendship that carried beyond working will be remembered with smiles on our face. May God wrap you with his loving arms and peace be yours. Shoe and Mac
