I knew Sonya from many years of serving her in my capacity of financial advisor at Marcus Daly hospital. She always had such a cheerful face and outlook.. I know she touched many during her career and the community has lost someone special.

Sonie, my best friend. What am I going to do without you. I am so sorry. I just think back to all the things we have done together. We were always there for each other. I miss you sooooo much. Joe, Michelle, Rob, and Jeremy my deepest sympathy goes out to you all. She was a wonderful person and will be missed by all of us. I love you guys

I was so so sorry to hear of Sonie's passing. I went to school, graduated and became friends with Sonie in Red Wing many years ago. I enjoyed seeing her at our 50th class reunion in Red Wing three years ago - I am missing her!

Sonie, it's hard to believe you aren't with us anymore. The world surely is an emptier place without you and your positive outlook on life. Anyone who ever heard your infectious laugh couldn't help but laugh along with you. And you could always laugh, even in the face adversity. It's how you survived. You were loved by so many people.
